please see:
http://www.livingwithtrisomy.org/ It can be difficult finding Physician's or Surgeons who are willing to work
with our children once they hear the "RARE Trisomy" diagnosis. Some in the
medical field feel it is not ethical to treat a child that they consider
incompatible with life.
Society for Maternal-Fetal
Medicine -
Why might a patient wish to be referred to a Maternal-Fetal Medicine
specialist? Most women seek consultation from or care by a Maternal-Fetal
Medicine (MFM) specialist because they "at risk" and considering becoming
pregnant or because they are pregnant and "high risk", "complicated", or
otherwise worried about their pregnancy.
