Lena Rose was going to be our last child. Someone Sophie could play with and be friends with.

On my 6 months ultrasound check the baby was diagnosed with having Trisomy 13 which was confirmed via amnio. We were crushed. We didn't understand. The rest of her was growing so well. When she did deliver she was a month early she weighed 6lb 2 oz. She did cry, but she had too many medical problems to continue to live.

I got to hold her in my arms by my heart and cuddle her up until she took her last breath. I have no regrets. We just miss her so much and we will never understand the reason for this, but will just have to trust God we might know the answer one day.
